The assault on Indian students in Australia has become almost a daily news. I came to learn that not all colleges in Australia accept students on a merit basis. This is applicable to many institutes in the world If education is made a business , then children of affluent parents, who become aware of it, will no longer give a try to crack the best institutes and they will depend on their father's money. They not only become incompetent but also feel insecure to take critical steps in their professional career. They may enter some organizations but they will take the alternative path to grow which may not be always helpful to them.A few days ago I came to learn that many illegal immigrants entered UK through some bogus universities. If the aim is to gain quality education then instead of investing a huge amount of money in some unknown universities students can work hard to get into some decent institutes, I am not saying the top,to realise their dream.
Institute authorities must understand that making education a business of making only money will paralyse many young minds.Instead, if profit is the main goal then they should define profit not in terms of money but in terms of nurturing young minds.Speaking of India , a lot of homework has to be done to position India into the league of developed countries. To make this happen ,mere money game has to be eradicated from educational institutions.

can't help partner...money pulls...but the good thing is that..the management quotas are limited to around 5-10%(guess i m right)...so if u r good enough u will get it.....
I partially agree with you hrithik. Partially because, in my opinion, education is being commercialized only because we the mere mortals are flocking into consumerism. We have only started looking into education as a commodity meant to decorate our resume. In India, every little kid is made to believe that the single-most important thing in their life is marks. Get more marks you will be gifted a bicycle, laptop and what not. But in case you have strayed in the no-no zone of five pointers then you are doomed and no human being wants to be doomed. So their surviving instinct makes them fall for the next powerful support that is money; and money, as good or bad it is, has the miraculous buying power. Right from the heads of the nations to the prettiest of faces: it can buy everything for you. So why not education.
So to try to eradicate money game mindlessly will be like trying to kill the patients along with the disease.
Rather a better strategy will be to look into old things with new eyes and when we are able to do that we should try to make the blinds see. Till then we should try to be the person whom we would like to see in others.
